Accommodation Description
La Antigua Posada is a traditional, historic house that once operated as an inn. It is located in a prime spot in the village center (Villar de Olalla), near the park and with access to all essential services. Additionally, it is just 5 minutes from Cuenca, whose historic area has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The house has been restored with respect to its character and originality, maintaining its authenticity and simplicity with typical elements such as stone, wood, wrought iron, tiles, and fireplaces.
The property is divided into rural suite-style rooms. Due to its layout, it can be rented as a whole house, ideal for groups of friends and families, or as individual rooms.
It features 2 wooden attic rooms with double beds and a stone suite with a fireplace. “El Telar,” which was once a weaving room, now retains its natural charm, while “El Troje,” formerly a grain storage room, preserves its antiquity. “La Alcoba” offers a rustic ambiance, and “El Jaraiz,” once used for grape pressing, remains a space full of history.
There are also common areas for the group to enjoy, such as “El Zaguán,” which serves as the entrance and hall. Additionally, there is an old living room where family life once unfolded, a glass-enclosed living-dining-kitchen area with a wood-burning fireplace and barbecue.
All rooms are doubles and are equipped with heating, a sitting area with a sofa, refrigerator, microwave, TV, and bathroom with a shower.
Outside, the house offers a large courtyard for recreation and a spectacular castle-style terrace with magnificent views of the park and woodland.
